Meeting with the driver and the assistant in hotel.
Leaving Florence early in the morning to discover one of the most beautiful parts of Tuscany. You will be driven through the hills and country side down to Castiglione d’Orcia, a delightful thermal station well known since Roman Times. A big pool built in Medici times with constantly warm water is situated in a charming little square, surrounded by medieval house. We will go on to Pienza, a small jewel situated on one of the tops of the hills from where you can admire a beautiful view. A visit to the private apartments of Palazzo Piccolomini we highly recommend.After lunch (not included in the package) you will go to an other unique place, Monte-Pulciano. A stroll trough the medieval city with as high lights, the town walls, the churches of Sant’Agnese and Santa Maria dei Servi and of course a stop in one of the wine cellars (entrance not included in the package) is “a must” of this trip.
